Installing Factions.
First off, I would like to say I'm sorry if there is a sticky or a thread for my question. Now.....
Since I'm just about to beat the last mission in Prophecy I went out and bought Factions. I heard I while back that I only had to put in my Access Key to play ,or I have to install the Factions disk along with puting in the key.
Sorry if my question in confusing because I'm confused too.

You need to put in the factions disc in your CD drive. The rest is self-explanatory.

All you need to to is add the factions access key to your account. Since you've already got the game installed, there's no need to installed from the cd.

Log in and click Edit account and add Access key... no installing necessary as you already have it installed

There is no need to install factions with your CD, however, if you find that loading gets a bit longer than usual then install it. Happened to me with nightfall when i didn't install it with the CD, installing the game seemed to have fixed it. The slow loading may not have been realted to not having installed nightfall but seeing how it solved the problem im still mentioning it.

kk...I have all 3, I can play prophecies fine, lag really bad on nf, but still playable...as for factions I can't play the toons I create from there. The game keeps messing up when I try to enter Sunqua vale, or just doing the tutorial... However, I'm able to use my prophecies toons and travel them to Kaineng and can play from there and on, but with some lag...So what could be the problem? I contacted Area net or w/e, with support and what not...they say it could be my video card, but why am I still able to play nf, and not factions?
My vid. card is NVIDIA RIVA TNT Model 64 (Sony)
So...yea...if you could post up solutions to my problem that'd be great...and I'll be getting a new pc soon though so yea.

There's your problem. I'm actually very surprised that you can play Guild Wars at all on that antique. Get rid of it and replace it with a more up to date graphics card.
